MONEY-BACK POLICY

Effective date : 24 March 2025

This Policy explains when and how you can obtain a refund for purchases made directly on shopping-protection.com. It supplements— and does not replace—your statutory rights under applicable consumer-protection laws.

1. General principle

Except where a refund is required by law or expressly granted under this Policy, all charges are final and non-refundable once processed.

2. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want new Members to try Shopping Protection risk-free. If you are not satisfied after the first paid charge, you may request a full refund within 30 days of that payment provided every condition below is met.

c. One-time benefitThe guarantee applies only to your first paid subscription charge per customer. Renewals and subsequent payments are excluded.
d. Account statusYour account must be in good standing (no chargebacks, no fraud flags, no Terms-of-Use breach).

We review all requests in good faith and will email you our decision—approved or declined—within 5 business days.

3. Cases not covered by the guarantee

  • Change of mind / personal preference (e.g., “I no longer need the service”, “It wasn’t what I expected”).
  • Billing awareness issues (e.g., forgot to cancel before renewal, did not notice that the free trial converts to a paid plan).
  • Multiple refund claims from the same customer or household.
  • Abuse or fraud (e.g., excessive claims filed then immediate refund request).

These situations may still be eligible under statutory withdrawal rights (see Section 5), but they do not qualify for our voluntary guarantee.

4. How refunds are issued

  • Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method only.
  • We initiate the credit within 5 business days of approval; banks may take an additional 10–15 business days to post the funds.

5. Statutory withdrawal right (EU/UK residents)

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may withdraw from your digital-service contract within 14 days of the first paid charge without giving any reason.

How to exercise

  1. Email help@shopping-protection.com with a clear statement (“I hereby withdraw from the contract for Shopping Protection”), or send the model form below.
  2. Do so before the 14-day period expires.

Refund timing

We reimburse all sums received within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, via the same payment method, without fees.

Exception: If you expressly asked us to start the service during the withdrawal period and acknowledged loss of the right to withdraw, we may deduct a pro-rata amount for the days already provided, or—where only digital content has been supplied—refuse a refund.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us directly before initiating a chargeback. We can usually resolve issues faster and without the negative consequences (account suspension, extra bank fees) associated with a payment dispute. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent account closure.

7. Policy changes

We may amend this Money-Back Policy from time to time. Any change will be posted here with a new “Effective date”. If changes materially limit your refund rights, we will notify active subscribers in advance by email or in-app notice.
